Eye-Fi Mobile Center Beta is Live!

Wish you could view the latest photos and videos you’ve uploaded online with Eye-Fi, right from your iPhone, Android or Blackberry? Want to edit your Eye-Fi card settings on the go? With Eye-Fi Mobile Center, now you can!

So how does it work?

Eye-Fi Mobile Center is a complement to Eye-Fi Center. Just visit http://m.center.eye.fi from your iPhone, Android or Blackberry. Once you login to your Eye-Fi account, you can:

- browse through a history of what your Eye-Fi card has transferred online (including where photos and videos were sent)

- edit Eye-Fi card settings that don’t require the card to be plugged it, such as which online sharing site photos & videos are being sent to, enable Geotagging, etc.

So what’s different?

The new Eye-Fi Mobile Center now stores the last 7 days of content you shared online and enables you to view photos in large format, as well as post to another sharing site on the fly!

FAQ

Is this an app? Where can I download it from?

No need to download and install anything! Mobile Center is a website that can be accessed through your mobile device by opening an internet browser and going to http://m.center.eye.fi.

What does “it’s in beta” mean?

Being in “beta” means that we’re releasing a product for you to try and test and help us improve. So please help shape Eye-Fi by submitting bug reports, suggestions, compliments, and ideas on our Eye-Fi Mobile Center Forum

Can I send photos and videos directly from my Eye-Fi card to my mobile device?

No; Eye-Fi Mobile Center lets you browse your Eye-Fi online sharing history and does not replace Eye-Fi Center.

Which smart phones are supported?

iPhone, Android, Palm webOS, and Blackberry mobile platforms are supported. It’s in beta though, so feel free to add your suggestions to the Eye-Fi Mobile Center Forum.

Does Mobile Center replace Eye-Fi Center on my computer?

No, you still need to set up your Eye-Fi card on your computer, and you can then tweak some settings or view uploads on-the-go using your mobile device.

    “your iPhone, Android or Blackberry.”

Just an FYI, this site works on almost any smart phone, not just these. I’ve logged in using my Pal Pre.

      Hi there,

We have listed the phones that have been supported but we’re happy to know that they work on other platforms and look forward to your feedback.

  2. Erika says:

This sounds really amazing- I can’t wait to check it out!

  3. Dirk says:

Is this supposed to work on the iPad? Because all I get when I go to m.center.eye.fi is this message:

Eye-Fi Mobile Center is coming soon for your desktop computer.

  4. Paul Ockenden says:

Trying to access m.center.eye.fi from my BlackBerry 9700 goes to https://m.center.eye.fi/mc/index.php, but then the server throws a 500 “Internal Server Error”.

  5. It would be really great if all eye fi card settings were configurable from the online interface (without the card being plugged in). That’s been my dream since the first eye-fi card.

  6. steve says:

I have an Eye-Fi app on my iPhone does this replace the app? What’s the difference?

    • randhir says:

Steve, the Eye-Fi Mobile Center allows you to configure most of your Eye-Fi card settings, view your online upload history and share photos & videos that were uploaded to an online site on your smart phone.

The iPhone app is primarily to upload photos from your iPhone to your computer and online sharing sites.

  7. Jeff Barclay says:

What is the status of the eye fi app. I liked being able to upload photos directly from the iPhone camera roll, and the current app is broken on iPhone 4

  8. Chad says:

This sounds great. Probably not the place for this, but any idea on when an update to the eye-fi app for the iPhone may happen? It doesn’t work properly on the iPhone OS4. I own two eye-fi cards for my cameras and was loving that I could use the same solution for mine and my wife’s phones.

    Thanks for a great product.

  9. Gary says:

This is great, but when will the Eye Fi app for the iPhone be updated and work properly again under iOS4? The app was the only reason I purchased an Eye Fi card and now I can’t use it… It’s an awesome product, very frustrating i can’t use it now.

  10. Ellen Blake says:

I have the app for my I Touch but nice to know I can view this now on my Android phone!

  11. Vickilou says:

I think I’m in love with my EyeFi card! Miss having the option to delete photos automatically after they load into my iPhoto…

    • randhir says:

Vickilou, I am not sure which particular Eye-Fi card you have; all the Eye-Fi X2 cards have the Endless Memory feature that can free up space on your Eye-Fi Card once your photos & videos have been safely delivered.

  12. monica says:

When is the new update for the iPhone app be release, currently not all functions are available with the new ios4

  13. randy says:

lets me enter email and password but login button is not working

  14. Kimm says:

I was pretty exciting about my Eye-Fi card, but it seems not so exciting anymore! I didn’t like not having the option to load which pictures I wanted to load. Plus I thought I could load right from my camera to my designated place, but that’s not working either! To me this card is just like all the others!!!:-(

    • randhir says:

Kimm, all Eye-Fi cards give you the option to select which photos you want to upload. Please view our Selective Share post.

Yes the Eye-Fi card uploads from your camera to your selected destination (computer and/or photo sharing site). Please contact us so we can get this set up for you.

  15. Ranger 9 says:

This site/app/thing would be handy for those times when I need to change my destination settings on the fly. Unfortunately, it doesn’t recognize my iPad as a mobile device — Instead shows a text-only page reading, “Eye-Fi Mobile Center is coming soon for your desktop computer.”

  16. Scott ferguson says:

Is there any plan to allow eye fi cards to access internet storage through a mobile device? It seems like a natural fit.

  17. Rich says:

I have a Droid ERIS, when I go to the website, after logging in and click on any of my pictures i get “No profile found” How do ai correct this?

  18. Richard says:

Anything planned for iPad? Although, it doesn’t matter much for me since I’ve given up waiting for a CompactFlash version; I was using one of your cards with an adapter, and had no problems, but your tech support told me that it was risky and to stop.

  19. Kevin says:

After logging in with my HTC Aria (Android 2.1) I have the option to choose a device to view photos. I choose my device, but the page doesn’t take me anywhere. The page seems to reload, but nothing happens?

  20. Jeov says:

I just tried this on my itouch. I used safari and went to the website m.center.eye.fi. I logged in and saw my uploaded eye-fi pics although they were all older than 7 days.
