Eye-Fi View, email sharing and more!

Back in March, we introduced the Eye-Fi Center software, which makes it even easier to back up and share memories. Today we’re announcing lots of fun upgrades and 2 new exciting features: email sharing and Eye-Fi View. RAW uploads to your FTP site

New option: RAW files can now be uploaded to your FTP site if you’re a Pro or Pro X2 user. Back up your photos or make it easy for clients to download full res photos right from your website.

Email made easy

No more stuffed inboxes to share vacations photos! Get email sharing the Eye-Fi way. Email sharing is a free upgrade to all Eye-Fi users and allows you to share the content you want with just the friends and family you want to share it with. The best part is, it sends them a link via email and gives them private access to full resolution photos and videos, without a login required, and without clogging your (or their) inbox! Eye-Fi View. Wherever. Whenever.

Do your photos and videos always seem to be at home when you want to show them or share them? With Eye-Fi View, access your memories from any web connected device.

It’s easy: just enable Eye-Fi View. You’ll then be able to view, share or download photos from the last 7 days wherever internet is available by logging into center.eye.fi with your Eye-Fi credentials. Eye-Fi View is a free upgrade available to all Eye-Fi X2 users.

So how do you get all these great new features?

The following steps are required (you’ll need your card and your computer to complete these steps):

• Update your card firmware.
• Update Eye-Fi Center. Click on the Eye-Fi Helper icon in your tray/menu bar; you’ll see an “Check for Updates” option. Click on it and follow the steps. This will give you the email option!
• Enable Eye-Fi View (available to Eye-Fi X2 users). There you can enable View for free access anywhere to your latest 7 days of uploads. You’ll also have the option to upgrade to Eye-Fi Premium there for just $4.99/month or $49.99/year. With Eye-Fi Premium, your shared links never expire and you’ll have unlimited access to your uploading history.

Once you’ve completed these steps, your subsequent Eye-Fi activity will be available for viewing, sharing and downloading in the original size at http://center.eye.fi, using your Eye-Fi username and password. Read more about Eye-Fi View or browse the FAQ »
