Here at Eye-Fi we have multiple names we’ll be using this Father’s Day!
Dad, Daddy, Pops, Old Man, 父, Papa, Pitaji, Buwa, Baba, Père, אבא
In celebration of these wonderful men who have given us life, taught us the meaning of hard work, and helped us get to where we are today, we’d like to take a moment to introduce them and to say “Happy Father’s Day!”

| “Here’s a pic of my youngest son and my Dad. His passion in life was bowling, good enough to be pro but sacrificed that to provide for the family. He taught me bowling and while I never got to his level, he showed me all the nuances of a sport that he loved. He always stress trying to do it right the first time and taught me to be passionate about whatever I did do. Thanks Dad and Happy Father’s Day!” – Bruce |

“My dad’s always encouraged us to explore more. I owe him more than my dark hair and my hot temper – I owe him the appreciation of everything I get to do every day, things I see, things I get to do, fine wines, and the fine people that surround me.” – Caroline |
“I love my Dad! He died very young when I was only 6 years old, but I remember a few things about him – he loved to sing and he taught me how to play domino. I insisted on playing every day but every time I lost (which of course happened very rare) I was in tears. One time my Dad told me that not everything is about winning, there are things that are more important than winning, like playing, for example.
Some words remain in our memory forever. Those were the words that I remember in many life situations – thank you, Dad!” – Irina |
| “My father once pointed something out to me that just absolutely floored me. I guess what he said to me was simple and small but it’s really stayed with me. It’s like the old adage to “measure twice, cut once,” only it was more profound and far more relevant to me and where I am today. So, I wanted to take a quick moment to thank my father and to share his wisdom so that you, too, may think on his words and remember the amazing things your own father may have said. “Lens cap’s still on.” Thanks, Dad, for pointing that out in front of all those people as they were all posed there waiting for me to take their photo. They may have looked like they were laughing at me but I’m sure they were all thinking, “This guy doesn’t have selective upload or anything so that shot of a lens cap was going to be up on his Facebook page and he’s going to look mighty silly.” Did I mention this happened last week before Eye-Fi Pro was introduced? It was. Last week. Thanks Dad.” – Jeff |

“My dad passed away on New Years Day this year. I am lucky though, because he was more than a father to me, he was also a friend that I adored and looked up to. Over that last several years we were able to spend an amazing amount of time together which allowed us to learn about each other as well as ourselves in new ways that I will be forever grateful. He provided me with the freedom, responsibility and knowledge to understand that I should look to do what is in my heart. My love for travel and photography come as a direct result of the stories and photos he always shared about his travels. No surprise then that I would end up working for Eye-Fi where making the sharing of memories is a normal part of the day.
This Father’s day will be like non-other before, though he will not be here to share in it, he will be in my heart and memories. Speaking of which, the very last photo I took of my dad was with my sister on her birthday last December. Note the shirt he is wearing. He took great pleasure in sharing his knowledge of Eye-Fi, not just because his son worked there, but because as a story teller, he knew there is a story to be told in each and every photo.” -Larry |
| “I adored my dad and you would have too, everyone did! …He instilled in me the joy of good food, good wine, good friends, and my love of gardening. He taught me the importance of doing what is right, especially when it is hard. He even taught me how to tie my shoelaces, never mind that it was my first day of college – ok, so I still have trouble keeping them tied…And he repeatedly told me I could be or do anything I wanted, and you know what? I believed him!” – Madeline |
| “My father has been the most influential figure in my life. He taught me to the power of positive thinking from a very early age, encouraged me in every step of the way to achieve the goals I set for and most importantly showed me – through his own example – the value of a well knit family. Thanks Daddy for all the sacrifices you’ve made and the love you’ve so wholeheartedly shared with all of us. Daddy lai mero sadhai maya rah dhoag.” – Praj |
| “I am particularly thankful to my dad for constantly encouraging me to “find a job you love so you’ll never have to work”. It is also nice to share one of my favorite colors (orange) with the Eye-Fi brand!” – Randhir |

“My Dad is the most incredible man I know! He’s taught me invaluable lessons about life, hard work, and enjoying the simple pleasures life has to offer. And best of all, I’ll always be his “little girl”. Thank you for everything Dad!” – Shannon |
| “My dad is one of my greatest role models. I aspire to match his kindness, selflessness, and passion for life.” – Shawn |

“Fishing with my Dad on the Kasilof.” – Steve |
| “In 1985, we came to the US, so that my dad could do his Ph.D and so that we could have a better life. Meanwhile, my mom did hers, and rather than going back to Israel, we just stayed. My parents are both teachers, so every weekend, and pretty much every possible vacation — we went somewhere.
My dad is the most selfless person I’ve ever met. Now, he’s a grandfather, so he’s also the most selfless grandpa I’ve ever met He always puts everyone else, first.”
