Will Direct Mode obviate the need for the Shuttersnitch app (currently $16 cost)? Will Direct Mode just transfer the images to my iPad and nothing more? About how late in 2011 will this be available? Summer or late Fall?

      Hi Phil,

We will release more details about OS and use when Direct Mode launches. Sorry, we cannot discuss development plans or schedules.

    Hello,

Will the Eye-Fi Pro X2 8 GB Class 6 SDHC work with a Nikon D700 using a SD to CF Type II Adapter (That Supports SDHC MMC)?

I want to use this card with my D700 and iPad.

    Jose

Hello, it would be great for you to support windows mobile 6 as well. I believe that they should be #3 in installed base of wifi enabled phones. iPhone, Android, then WM.

Are we there yet? I can’t wait to get my hands on that upgrade!

    Hi,
I just bought the eye-fi card (pro x2) after seeing demo video of direct mode.
But it is actually not there? Can I expect to see it work with it?
    So disappointed…

      HI Ludo,

We will update the blog when Direct Mode is available – it will be available as a free upgrade to all Eye-Fi X2 cards.
