Circles, Sparks, Hangouts and mobile, oh my! Google+ has everything to allow you to connect with your circles online. From sharing news with your friends, watching your favorite subjects, starting hangouts and sharing photos. With their Instant Upload, getting photos from your Android camera to Google+ is a piece of cake. But what do you do when you want to instantly share photos from your digital camera to Google+? The answer is simple, use Eye-Fi to instantly send photos from your camera to your Google+ account. Then you can share all of your photos with your Circles from your camera phone AND your digital camera.
How Does it Work?
The Eye-Fi Card is a wireless memory card that looks, stores media and fits into cameras just like a regular SDHC card. On top of that, the Eye-Fi card has built–in Wi-Fi that effortlessly transfers photos and videos from your camera to your iPhone, iPad, Android Device or computer and online. Eye-Fi’s integration with Picasa allows you to send pictures instantly from your digital camera to Picasa online. Once your photos are on Picasa, you can easily share them in your stream for your Google+ Circles to see.
How to upload photos to your Google+ Account:
With Eye-Fi and Google+, sharing photos with your Circles has never been easier. Simply follow the steps below to make sure your Eye-Fi card is uploading to Picasa and you’ll be set to share all of your awesome photos from your digital camera with your Circles online.
| 1. | Login to Eye-Fi Center and select “Card Settings” by right-clicking on your Eye-Fi card that you want to use to upload to Google+. |  |
| 2. | Within your card settings, select “Photos” and then select “Online” to add Picasa as your “new online sharing site”. (Note: Picasa will automatically allow you to see photos in your Google+ account.) |  |
| 3. | Take photos to share with your Circles on Google+. Let the Eye-Fi card instantly upload them online to your Picasa albums. |  |
| 4. | Login to you Google+ account, click on “Photos” and then select “Your Photo Albums”. |  |
| 5. | Choose the album you want to share with your Circles and select “Share Album”. You can designate which Circles you’d like to be able to view your photos and add a comment for your Circles to see when the photo(s) are added to your stream. |  |
