What’s your favorite Eye-Fi feature?
Wireless sending of photos to my laptop

What’s your Eye-Fi story?
I own and manage a photobooth service here in the Philippines (www.barelytoast.com). I have been searching for innovative means of sending photos from my camera to my laptop. I have always been using a USB cable to tether the data but it has always been a cause of bootleneck. I came across Eye-Fi while searching on the net. I was skeptical at first since I could not believe that an SD card would have the capability of sending photos wirelessly to my laptop. Then an opportunity came for me to visit the US last month. I was lucky enough to purchase an Eye-Fi Connect X2. I trusted the product, and oh my was it worth it.

I completed setup of my Eye-Fi Connect X2 on my Nikon D90, sending photos to my MacBook Pro via a wireless router. It’s actually faster than tethering via USB! My events photobooth is now wireless, probably the first and only one in the country! It now gives me more flexibility in maximizing the client’s events space and allows me to view and print the photos remotely and almost instantly! People were really surprised on how I was, almost instantly, able to project and print the photos from the booth in remote location. Very reliable, very convenient!

If you could gift an Eye-Fi card, who would you give it to?
Quentin Tarantino – it would be interesting to see spontaneous videos/photos from the eyes of a great artist like him.

What’s the latest photo/video you Eye-Fi’d?
Getting crazy in the Barely Toast Photobooth…
