Which Eye-Fi card do you own?

Eye-Fi Home 2GB

Which feature do you think is most useful?

I *love* how easy it is upload pictures to my laptop without any effort on my part. I have enough to do every day without trying to track down my SD card reader, set it up on my iMac or laptop, find the camera, and move all my pictures over to the computer.

What’s your Eye-Fi story?

I take my digital camera everywhere with me and I was forever forgetting to move pictures off the SD card and onto my computer. As a result, I was always running out of space on my camera at the worst possible times and sometimes even missed some really good shots as I fumbled around trying to delete unimportant pics. Then one day, everything came to a head.

My three boys and I are huge NASA junkies and go to a lot of shuttle launches at Kennedy Space Center. While waiting on the causeway a few months ago for Discovery to launch, I was horrified to discover that my SD card was all filled up again. I spent tons of time reviewing and deleting photos instead of snapping pics of us staring at and drooling over the shuttle but, luckily, I was able to make room on my camera in time for liftoff. I bought an Eye-Fi card the next day. :)

What’s the latest photo/video you Eye-Fi’d?

I rescued two teeny-tiny baby bunnies a couple weeks ago and I snapped this pic of them today. In the time it took for me to recover from their adorableness, the photo had uploaded itself to my laptop and I was blasting it all over Facebook and Twitter five minutes later.
