Eye-Fi is pleased to announce our developer program, which allows developers to create new and innovative applications using Eye-Fi services.
What can I do with the APIs?
The Eye-Fi web services will allow you to:
- Access a user’s photos & videos in your own application (e.g. photo editing, printing, etc.)
- Send photos & videos from your application to any of 45 online sharing sites through the Eye-Fi service without integrating with any of them
- Configure most Eye-Fi card settings from within your application (e.g. switch online sharing sites, enable/disable geotagging, etc.)
How do I send photos & videos to my own site?
You can use the Gallery3 APIs by following the instructions in this document to have Eye-Fi upload photos & videos directly to your site. This is a very easy integration and does not require you to get a developer key from Eye-Fi.
How do I start?
Please sign up with your email address and a brief description of what you would like to do with the Eye-Fi services. We will grant access to people in phases and want a diverse set of applications for each phase.
