- Does Eye-Fi Explore Video wirelessly upload videos?
Yes. The Eye-Fi Explore Video card stores all JPEG photos and videos, just like your existing SDHC memory card. The Eye-Fi Explore Video uploads JPEG photos and video files wirelessly.
- Does HotSpot Access include Starbucks?
Not at this time. The 10,000 HotSpots include hotels, participating McDonald’s, and more. See a map of HotSpots »
- Do you need to be in a HotSpot for photos to be geotagged?
No. Geotagging happens whenever you are in range of any wireless network, open or closed, private or public.
- How is geotagging provided?
Geotagging is provided through Wi-Fi Positioning System (WPS), which is different from Global Positioning System (GPS). Read about how WPS geotagging works »
- Can I upload only certain photos and videos, or do I have to upload everything?
That’s up to you! Every Eye-Fi Explore Video card has a Selective Share Option, which, once enabled, lets you use the “lock” or “protect” key on your camera to pick which photos and videos are uploaded. Once you’ve made your selection, only the protected videos and JPEG photos will upload online, while everything will be backed up on your computer.
- How do I know if the Eye-Fi Explore Video card works with my camera?
The Eye-Fi Explore Video card is compatible with SDHC compatible cameras. You’ll need your camera make and model to check if it’s compatible.
- Can I buy Eye-Fi cards outside of the US and Canada?
