- Does the Eye-Fi Share card upload videos?
No. Only the Eye-Fi Share Video, Eye-Fi Explore Video and Eye-Fi Pro X2 cards do. The Eye-Fi Share card stores all photos and video formats, just like your existing SD memory card. The Eye-Fi Share only uploads JPEG photos wirelessly.
- Can I upload only certain photos, or do I have to upload everything?
That’s up to you! Every Eye-Fi Share card has a Selective Share Option, which, once enabled, lets you use the “lock” or “protect” key on your camera to pick which photos are uploaded. Once you’ve made your selection, only the protected JPEG photos will upload online, while everything will be backed up on your computer.
- When I share photos online, can make it visible to only friends and family, or will all my photos be public?
The most popular websites, like Flickr, YouTube or Picasa, let you select if your photos are private, seen only by friends and family, or public when you upload them. Simply select the level of privacy when you set up your online destination to keep things visible to friends and family only.
- How do I know if my camera can be made wireless with the Eye-Fi Share card?
The Eye-Fi Share card is compatible with thousands of SD and SDHC cameras. You’ll need your camera make and model to check if it’s compatible.
- Can I buy Eye-Fi cards outside of the US and Canada?
